Pugs and Mini Pug Puppy Facts

One day, my little daughter when into my study. I was then writing some emails to be sent out to friends regarding a get together party that I was spearheading. Anyway, so there was my little girl who quickly jumped onto my lap and gave me one of her cutest, puppy face ever.

I knew right then and there that there was something she needed from me. I was thinking along the line of a new doll or a new bike or perhaps she would like me to enroll her to a ballet school.

“I want a mini pug, daddy,” she said.

“A mini pug?” I replied.

“I want a mini pug, daddy,” she said again.

I wasn’t sure whether there was an actual mini pug. I knew of pugs. I just didn’t know anything about mini pugs. I love my little girl so I tried to learn some pugs and mini pug puppy facts. I reached out for the phone directory, looked up a dog breeder and dialed the number.

Luckily, the dog breeder that I called did have a few pugs and mini pugs in her kennels. I asked her a bunch of questions about pugs and mini pug puppy facts and the most interesting information I learned from her is that a mini pug is not a hundred percent pug.

“A mini pug is actually what you get when you breed a regular pug and a regular chihuahua. Both breeds are already very small, with the chihuahua the smaller of the two. So you can just imagine how small the offspring would be,” she said.

I thanked her for all the info and told her that me and my daughter were going to drop by her place the next day to look at her pugs. My daughter was very excited and she eventually got her own mini pug puppy.
